...wasn't exaggerated at all. A little thing called life reared it's ugly head, and any momentum I had towards anything gaming-related went to a screeching halt. But I'm back again with a few updates!
I have updated all the download links, because the wonderful people at the Wing Commander CIC were kind enough to host my files for me. A big thank you! It's relieving knowing content won't go disappearing from here because of a faulty hosting site. All the files are here to stay!
Many pages were updated or added. Originally I used WCP/SO VDU images as icons for the ship database, but recently I went and made brand new icons for every ship, including new ones I've made on my own, and the new ones only shown in Star*Soldier. Lots of new alien craft to shoot at.
When is The Evacuation coming? That's actually a good question. Soon. Why is it taking so long? Apart from life getting in the way, I realized the missions I had in mind have very little sense in a "race against time" scenario. So the entire mission-line is being revamped into something more fast-paced. I also wish to incorporate some new assets I've created.
I'm also working very hard on trying to figure out .exe editing and .dll patches. Even the vanilla game could benefit greatly from enhancements via .dll, and I'd love to put those enhancements to good use in future projects.
The race against time is taking a while to get here, but it'll be here...in time.
